As a Graduate Bid Manager, I am shaping the future by working together with my team to bring together multiple disparate systems used every day into one master system integration for customers. Allowing the conversion of a building from its previous traditional use to now be optimised, connected and produce a dynamically functioning environment for its users.
Describe your day to day (in 3 sentences)
I am fortunate that I get to work in multiple disciplines throughout the day. Whether the project is in building control, security or smart analytics, my expertise is needed to help the customer make crucial decisions that benefit their companies or tenants. This is either through on-site customer engagement, or in the office engineering solutions and proposals.
Describe your biggest achievement as a Grad
Presenting to an audience of over 100 customers at Honeywell’s User Group Conference on designing and innovating for the future of the work force. As a generation Z employee, I used my experience and insight in the industry to provide a real use case for customers to act upon.
What is something you have learnt about yourself over your Grad journey
The ability to realise where you are lacking in experience early on. Whether it be in a project bid or solution design, the force to speak up to gain support or help from the wider team is crucial.
