Mixed experiences with different managers/team leads in different situations. Some positive experiences: - candid - helpful - empathetic - effective at resolving team tension - feedback that I can use. Some negative experiences: - left me feeling uncertain in an already difficult project - feedback that doesn't give me any direction
Managers are very accessible (even leaders higher in the organisation). All of them are friendly and are always giving really good feedback and are always asking for feedback from me. There are regular performance reviews which again go both ways. The entire organisation has a focus of recognising individuals either on slack (internal comms tool) or at our appreciation event on Fridays
I've found they are accessible and caring generally.
